Saahir is an iOS app that shows you, per app, which tracking companies your phone is talking to — and puts you in control of what happens to each one.
When Instagram phones home to Meta, when TikTok sends data to ByteDance, when a random flashlight app connects to a dozen ad networks — Saahir names the app, names the company, and groups every request by what kind of tracking it is — advertising, analytics, location, and more.

DNS-level filter
Blocks known trackers system-wide, before the connection is even attempted.
02 · INSPECT
Per-app inspector
Shows you which of your apps are contacting which companies — with the publishing company identified directly from Apple’s own signing metadata. No third-party lookup service, no guessing.
You’re never locked into the defaults: tap any request in the inspector to block it, unblock it, or leave it as-is — per app or per domain. At launch, nothing about your network activity leaves your phone — see Privacy stance below.
◆ About coverage
Saahir attributes ~95% of your device's tracker connections to the specific app that made them (Instagram, TikTok, Safari, and so on). A small remainder — roughly 2–5% — are cached-DNS-lookup, background-widget, media-playback, or App-Store-transaction flows that show up under iOS system daemons (mDNSResponder, StoreKit, media playback) rather than a specific user-installed app. Those are the connections your phone makes on its own behalf rather than an app you opened. We surface both honestly rather than hiding the system-daemon share.
◆ About Apple system traffic
A small, fixed set of Apple’s own infrastructure — App Store purchases, iCloud, push notifications, and Apple’s own StoreKit/SKAdNetwork attribution — is never blocked when it comes from an Apple system process talking to Apple’s own servers. Blocking it would risk breaking iOS itself, including the purchase flow you’d use to subscribe to Saahir. This exception is narrow by design: it only applies when both the sender and the destination are Apple’s own, so trackers riding inside Safari or background notifications are still blocked as usual. We’re disclosing this rather than letting it pass silently.
You stay in control
When Saahir gets it wrong
No blocklist is perfect. Occasionally a tracker block will break something you actually wanted — a video that won’t load, a login that hangs. When that happens, you don’t have to wait for an update: tap the connection in the inspector, choose “Unblock,” and it works again immediately. Unblock it once, or add it to your allowlist so Saahir remembers the exception for good.
Designed for reversibility
No permanent lock-ins
Known trackers are blocked automatically. But the block list isn’t the last word — you are. Every action can be reversed at the level that makes sense: by app, by domain, or temporarily across the device.
Privacy by design
Your network activity stays yours.
Saahir is built privacy-first, with on-device processing and a business model that does not depend on profiling you.
Your network activity stays on your device. At launch, nothing you do in Saahir reaches our servers — even your subscription is verified on-device by Apple. Rule updates do download from our servers in the background, but that’s the same anonymous tracker list for every user — it carries nothing about you. A future update will add an optional “Explain” feature for Plus subscribers: tapping a tracker for an AI explanation will send only that domain to our servers, deleted within 24 hours. BYOK subscribers’ explanations will go directly from their device to Anthropic instead, never touching our servers. See Availability below.
There are no third-party analytics, telemetry, or advertising SDKs in the app.
Filtering decisions are processed on your device wherever possible.
We do not sell, share, or monetize your data. The app will be funded by paid plans, not by your information.

Coming to the App Store
Availability
Saahir will launch on the App Store as a subscription with a 7-day free trial. Two options at launch:
Saahir Privacy PlusStandard subscription
Your subscription is verified on-device by Apple — no server call. An AI-powered “Explain” feature is planned for a future update; when it ships, Plus subscribers’ explanations will run through Saahir’s Claude proxy, and each request will carry only the domain you tapped, deleted within 24 hours.
Saahir Privacy BYOKBring Your Own Key
A lower-cost subscription for users who’d rather use their own Anthropic API key once “Explain” arrives. Zero Saahir backend contact, ever: your subscription is verified on-device by Apple, and when explanations ship, they’ll go directly from your device to Anthropic using your own key.
Pricing will be announced at launch. At launch, both options include the identical technical stack (per-app inspector + DNS-level filter, plus full block/unblock/allowlist/pause control) — the price difference reflects who covers the AI cost once “Explain” ships, not a feature gap on day one.
